Pros and Cons of Natural Weight Loss Pills
If you are reading this article, you are probably one of the great many people trying to shed that unwanted weight. With the increasing of overweight population with every year, so grows the number of methods to battle against excess weight. The methods include so called “fad” diets, with their popularity decreasing, specific weight loss programs that are very effective, but demand rigid obedience and dedication, and lastly different weight loss pills.
The major part of people, like you, cannot let themselves abide strict dieting regime or rules of weight loss programs, though it would be reasonable as it gives positive results. We often don’t have enough time or lack in willpower in our struggle with overweight.
That’s why natural weight loss pills become irreplaceable aid for us, that can really help us to lose weight on initial steps, and make us feel that weight loss success is possible. Basically, if you start losing weight using weight loss pills, you can easily fit in a new life style that leads you towards the body shape you’ve always been dreaming of…
Before you choose natural weight loss pills, we want to explain their weak and strong points to help you make the right choice.
Weaknesses
Let’s first outline the cons of natural weight loss pills:
There is a vast number of natural pills available. Facing such a vast choice makes it difficult to find the really effective and credible pills. Huge number of pills means there may be too many ineffective and fraudulent weight loss pills.
Most of the natural weight loss pills are not approved by official organizations like FDA or MHRA. That means the effectiveness, as well as their possible side effects, will come to light only after those pills have already reached the market.
We can hardly ever find natural pills that were clinically studied to confirm their claims. We have to “clinically test” their action on our bodies.
There are many weight loss pills that contain natural ingredients yet dangerous to your health. Perfect example is ephedra, that intensify fat burning, still having a mix of side effects that can damage your health seriously.
Strengths
Well, many natural pills really have the above mentioned weak points. Still natural weight loss pills become more and more popular, by virtue of great advantages before prescription weight loss drugs:
Natural weight loss pills are available without prescription. They are the best choice if you decided to take weight loss into your own hands and you want to shed those unwanted pounds easier. If your health conditions are not restricted and excess weight doesn’t treat your health seriously, the best you can do is to choose effective and credible slimming pills and combine them with healthy nutrition and exercising.
As compared to chemical ingredients of prescription drugs, natural weight loss pills don’t have side effects. You can take natural weight loss pills and don’t be afraid for your health.
Natural weight loss pills don’t lead to tolerance (as prescription drugs do). You can take natural pill a lot longer and their efficacy won’t go down.
Some natural weight loss solutions contain the mixes of components that not only make you lose weight, but also support your organism in its weight loss efforts. If you talk to people who take some natural weight loss pills, they report such effects as energy boost and even better mod, due to mixed effect of natural ingredients.
New weight loss solutions
2007 has seen the release of brand new natural weight loss pills that passed numerous clinical studies and are approved by official medical organizations, as compared to majority of existing natural pills.
Natural Weight Loss Without All the Gimmicks!
Losing weight without the Gimmicks
There are so many diets, pills, potions, exercise machines and dieting plans out there it is no wonder that losing a few pounds has become a miserable process, and 9 out of 10 people simply give up in disgust. The worse fact is; that it means throwing away good money that has been paid for the program in the first place. The weight loss industry/ markets prey on people that want to lose a few pounds with empty promises, and then blame these same people afterwards that they have not followed the instructions, or diet plan as indicated properly. Hidden away below most programs is a disclaimer that hardly anyone reads which protects the manufacturer. Losing weight without the gimmicks in a natural way without stress or misery would certainly be a breath of fresh air for overweight people that have had it up to the neck or their ears with useless weight loss programs.
Natural Weight loss without all the lies
The truth will hardly be told by weight loss product manufacturers that you can lose weight without all the gimmicks. What losing weight without the gimmicks means; is not having to pop weight loss supplements, drink funny meal replacement shakes that have a nasty after taste, or sit watching people enjoy real food while you have to eat rabbit food. Even more; losing weight without the gimmicks means not getting on an exercise machine that feels like torture, following miserable dieting programs, counting calories and hating your lifestyle. With all the pressures of modern society and financial problems people have already how much more miserable can you get.
Counting calories to lose weight is a waste of time.
Losing weight without the gimmicks means stopping to count your calories for every lettuce leaf, funny rye breads that taste like dog biscuits, or reaching for those limp lettuce leaves. Imagine the relief if the real truth came out. Not just the truth but the REAL TRUTH!! Counting calories and starving yourself means that your body starts craving for food, a craving that eventually gets so hard to resist that you go off the rails and your efforts are lost. Everyone has unique tastes in foods and even though they may look like no-no foods they may not be when eaten properly. The only real way to lose weight without gimmicks is giving your body what it needs in the right quantities. This means a no stress eating plan that is properly designed for each individual according to your lifestyle.
Losing weight without all the gimmicks forever
Wasting your hard earned money on weight loss formulas that you know deep down inside are really not going to work, is just going to make you more miserable and this is one of the prime reasons yo-yo dieting happens which is dangerous. You can get to a point where you say stuff it, and start eating something to reward yourself and this ends up getting out of hand. Losing weight without the gimmicks in a natural proven way is possible if you know where to look for it. Weight loss markets may brainwash you to sell their products, so when you find the real truth staring you in the face it is possible you may end up overlooking it.
Are All Natural Weight Loss Plans Beneficial to your Health?
All natural weight loss plans sound almost too good to be true. Is it even possible to lose weight, look and feel great without being forced into an unnatural diet or without taking dangerous drugs?
Well, if you want to lose weight, you have to have a plan. You have to set some goals and pursue them. And you have to be patient. There is no such a thing as fast weight loss. You cannot take a pill and get rid of all the fat deposits in a matter of weeks or months. Your body just doesn’t work this way.
Here is a good plan with all the things you will have to do to lose weight safely and effective:
1. Exercise.
This is nothing new really, but exercise is probably the most important predictor of whether you will succeed at long term weight loss and weight loss maintenance. In order for exercise to be helpful in weight loss, you should strive for a minimum of five 30-minute sessions per week. The good news is that recent research has shown that three 10-minute sessions in a day are as good as one 30-minute session.
The goal of exercise for weight loss is to burn more calories, although exercise offers many other benefits as well. How many calories you burn depends on the frequency, duration and intensity of your activities.
Even though regularly scheduled aerobic exercises are best for losing fat, any extra physical activity helps burn calories. And since lifestyle-related activities may be easier to fit into your day, you should think about ways you can increase your physical effort. For example, make several trips up and down stairs instead of using the elevator, park at the far end of the lot and walk instead of taking the bus.
2. Stay focused on being healthy, not on becoming thin.
Many people become more successful at long-term weight loss when their motivation changes from wanting to be thinner to wanting to be healthier. Change your mindset to think about selecting foods that will help your body’s health rather than worrying about foods that will affect your body’s weight. The Food Pyramid offers a basic outline of the types and amounts of food you should eat each day to give your body the nutrients it needs for optimal health.
Adopting a new eating style that promotes weight loss must include lowering your total calorie intake. But decreasing calories doesn’t mean giving up taste, satisfaction or even ease of meal preparation. One way you can lower your calorie intake is by eating more plant-based foods – fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Strive for variety to help you achieve your goals without giving up taste or nutrition.
3. If you have to use any weight loss pills, don’t try those advertised as “fat burners” or other nonsense of this kind. There are plant extracts out there that can help you reduce the sensation of hunger and bind some of the fat in your meals so you get the benefit of a relaxed approach and positive attitude.
A good attitude is essential for your success. A good attitude can help you have patience and not try to see fast results. Fast weight loss will only result in gaining back all the fat and then some.
All natural weight loss plans and baby steps do work wonders!
A Synergistic Approach for Natural Weight Loss Success
While it is tempting to believe that a magic pill or potion is all that you need to achieve natural weight loss, the hard truth is that losing weight is just not that simple in most cases. For the vast majority of people, a combination of exercise, changes in eating habits, and perhaps the use of appropriate natural weight loss aids will be needed in order to lose weight long-term.
There are many natural weight loss products available and additional ones come out all the time. Each promises to be nearly miraculous in it’s effects and people buy the latest and greatest weight loss aid with eager anticipation, hoping that it will finally be the answer to their weight problems. They want to believe that a pill, or a patch, or a tea, etc.. will be all they need to lose weight and that diet and exercise won’t be necessary (because dieting and exercising are difficult). Even though deep down they probably know that the latest weight loss miracle being hyped is no better than all the things they’ve tried before, they want to believe it will work, and so they buy it, only to be disappointed again.
Now this is not to say that natural weight loss aids are all completely worthless. The truth is, a lot of weight loss aids actually have the effects that their prooters claim. For example, hoodia gordonii (at least the real stuff) does seem to be a very effective appetite suppressant. So, if the main reason that you have trouble losing weight is because you have out of control hunger that makes you eat excssively, hoodia may be a big help. The problem is that most people are not overeating out of actual hunger. They may eat out of boredom, out of habit, out of a need to satisfy a craving, or out of a need to soothe some emotional issue they are dealing with, but they don’t eat out of hunger. Hoodia is not going to help you if you aren’t eating out of hunger.
Other natural weight loss aids may work by increasing the metabolic effects of diet and exercise. It kind of stands to reason that if you fail to incorporate diet and exercise the effects of these products will be pretty minor.
Some natural weight loss aids block the absorption of fat by the digestive tract and thereby lower the calories you absorb from each meal. While this does tend to help with weight loss, unless you stop eating everything except fat (which is not a good idea), you still are taking in other calories that, in excess, will be converted to fat AFTER they are absorbed from the digestive tract. For optimum results, again we see that a good eating plan and exercise are necessary.
At this point, you may have guessed that one of the primary points I am trying to make is that lsting natural weight loss, absolutely requires a healthy eating plan and regular exercise. No weight loss aid, natural or otherwise will by itself make you lose weight and keep it off. In fact, the ads for weight loss aids will usually state this very thing, even though it is in microscopic print at the bottom of the ad.
What it comes down to is that natural weight loss is built on a foundation of sensible diet and exercise. With a good diet and exercise program in place, you may get additional benefits from using one or more of the natural weight loss products on the market. But do your research to find a product that serves your particular needs. In other words, if you’re not overeating out of hunger, don’t buy an appetite suppressant. If you’re already minimizing your fat intake, don’t waste your money on a fat blocker.
Now, once you have your weight loss plan in place with your diet, exercise program, and whatever natural weight loss aids you choose to use, there’s one little thing that needs to happen for you to successfully lose weight. You have to stick to the program! If there’s one thing that renders the vast majority of natural weight loss efforts ineffective, it’s a lack of follow-through.
It has been my experience that very few people stick to a natural weight loss program consistently for more than two weeks at a time. Of course, some people may intermittently follow a weight loss program for months or years, but they get sidetracked over and over again and really are not consistent for more than one or two weeks in a row, so they never get any momentum and achieve their goals.
A new study that tested the relative effectiveness of several popular diet plans revealed a fascinating finding. The overall success rates of most of the currently popular diet programs were about the same. The success or failure of any given diet had little to do with what the approach was. In other words, low carb, low fat, calorie restriction, eating for blood type, etc., really didn’t matter. The thing that actually mattered was if the person consistently followed the program! To sum it up, it doesn’t matter so much what you do to lose weight (within reason), as much as it matters that you do it consistenty long-term!
To be able to stick to your natural weight loss program, it is critical that you take charge of your thoughts and emotions. A lot of different ways exist to get control over your own mind, and different ways have varying degrees of effectiveness from one person to the next. You can get a lot of help in this area with products from Anthony Robbins, Dr. Phil, and others, as well as through technologies like hypnosis, the Sedona Method and Emotional Freedom Technique. You may need to try several methods to find what works well for you.
Regardless of the approach you use, the true key to effective natural weight loss really has very little relationship to the hottest weight loss aid on the market, or the most recent diet book being promoted. The real secret is to choose a reasonable approach that includes diet, exercise (choose an exercise you are physically capable of doing – starting with advanced kickboxing if you’ve been a couch potato your whole life is not going to work!), and possibly one or more weight loss aids and then make that program a part of your daily life forever. And the way to make that happen is to take control of your mind and get your brain working with you rather than against you. Good luck!
Healthy and Natural Weight Loss
Physicians and dieticians will confirm that losing weight is not an easy process. If it is done right, in a healthy and sustainable way, it may require eating habit changes, and it will most likely, not happen overnight.
Like gaining weight, which manifests itself often gradually, a healthy weight loss should happen equally slow. Crash diets are quick fixes and usually do not keep the weight off for long. These diets are good if you need to lose a few pounds fast to get into a wedding dress, or a revealing beach outfit, but are not the preferred weight loss tactic if you want to achieve a healthy, sensible weight managing lifestyle.
A natural diet is the best way to lose weight and keep it off. That means, opting for proper nutrition and a sensible food intake, which includes three small main meals a day and two snacks in between. Every diet expert will agree that having just one or two large meals a day is unhealthy. Our body needs a steady flow of fuel and energy, just like your car does, or your alarm clock. Confused? Picture, the electricity goes off! Your alarm clock may still run because of its backup battery, but eventually that cell will run out and your clock will stop working. Our bodies function pretty much on the same principle and once you go hungry it may tap into your reserves. There is one major difference. If you get hungry too often, your body will start to stock more reserves. In other words, it will start hording extra fat for those emergency situations, and in that case, you will start gaining weight.
Controlling hunger, while managing calories, is of the upmost importance. By taking advantage of a natural weight loss diet, and eating 4 to 5 smaller meals a day, your body will burn plenty of calories, your metabolism will run faster, your energy level will be up, and you will not even feel as if you are on a diet.
No matter what the reason for your weight control program is, successful weight loss and healthy weight management will depend on rational goals and expectations. Set your goals sensibly and the chances that you will be able to meet them will increase dramatically. In fact, losing even five to ten percent of your current weight, if you are overweight, is the kind of goal that can indeed help you improve your health considerably.
When you are eating fewer calories than usual, it is vital to eat a good balance of nutrients. If you do not, you may get run-down or sick. Increase your vegetables, fruits, and whole grains consumption during a healthy weight loss. They will give you lots of vitamins and minerals. Try to eat your vegetables raw to get the full effects of the vitamins they contain. During cooking, carrots, green beans, broccoli and other of your favourite vegetables will lose part of their nutritional value. Avoid frying your food, but instead use a steamer, or prepare your ingredients on a grill.
The most important natural product which you need during a natural weight loss program is water. Water will flush out toxins and will increase the toning of your muscles during exercise. As you can guess, physical activity and exercising should also be part of your natural weight loss program.
Finding a weight loss partner would be ideal. You could encourage and motivate each other and swap recipes. Many diet gurus, nutritionists, physicians and health experts have created meals so appetizing you will never think about your old eating habits again.
How to Stay Focused and Follow Through With a Natural Weight Loss Plan
Numerous effective, safe, natural weight loss systems are around that give sound diet and exercise advice and perhaps also give recommendations on natural weight loss aids. All of the good programs (and for that matter, even some of the bad ones) have their share of supporters and successful weight loss stories. But if there are good weight loss systems out there, what causes so many people to fail in their attempts to lose weight? How is it that some people get dramatic success in losing weight, yet the majority of others using the plan just can’t seem to make it work?
The main difference is whether or not the person follows-through on the program. It doesn’t matter how effective a weight loss program may be if you don’t follow-through on it for the long-term. Many who begin a natural weight loss plan will begin with high levels of motivation, but most lose focus quickly and cannot stay motivated for more than a couple of weeks and can’t seem to stick to the plan.
So what happens? Why does someone who has finally convinced him or herself that now is the time and they are going to do whatever it takes to lose weight and nothing is going to get in the way of accomplishing their weight loss goals, lose their motivation so quickly?
Actually, a lot of things can happen. Temptations arise. Other people can interfere. They run out of time and/or energy to eat right and exercise. Or, maybe they simply lose sight of the reasons they decided to try to lose weight in the first place.
One key to staying focused is to frequently think about your weight loss goals and what losing weight will mean to you. Most people don’t just decide they want to lose weight. There’s almost always some underlying motivation to try lose weight. Maybe it’s because they’re worried about their health. Maybe it’s because they can’t find clothes they like that fit them. Maybe it’s because they want to find a romantic partner and think that it will be easier if they look better. Perhaps they have grown tired of the fat jokes and people talking about their weight problems. There are probably as many reasons for wanting to lose weight as there are people who want to lose weight. The more clear you can get as to your real motivating factors to lose weight, the greater your chances are to stay motivated, floow-through, and be successful.
By focusing on the reason you want to lose weight on a consistent basis, you will tend to stay more motivated. I recommend writing down your underlying reason(s) for wanting to lose weight, but writing it in a way that it will boost your motivation. The most effective way for most people is to write yourself a negative to avoid and the associated positive to go after. For example, if you would like to wear nice clothes, but you have a lot of difficulty finding clothes you want to wear in your size, you could write something along the lines of, “I am highly motivated to do the things necessary to lose my excess weight so that I will not be restricted to wearing large-size clothing.”. I am thrilled to be getting my weight to where I can wear stylish, sexy clothes!”
Once you have your written motivation statement(s), place it someplace you’ll see it several times per day. Make sure to stop an read it each time you see it and really take the time to think about what you are reading – don’t just read the words, FEEL them!
As was discussed earlier, there are a lot of things that can get you off-track from your weight loss program, and there are many techniques for dealing with each of these influences. By figuring out what really motivates you to lose weight, and then making sure to remind yourself of your motivating factor(s) frequently, you’ll be better equipped to handle ALL of the interfering factors that might tend to prevent you from following-through. Natural weight loss is within your reach if you can get your mind working with you to achieve your goals!

I’m in the process of planning to lose a major amount of weight, but I’m doing it naturally – no pills and no surgery. I noticed that those who’ve lost a lot of weight (100+) after surgery had large amounts of sagging skin. I want to know if there is anyone out there that has lost 100+ lbs naturally that had an issue with loose skin, or does that just happen to people that have surgery because the weight comes off so fast?
Natural Weight Loss and Weddings
When you are planning for your wedding, it seems like your whole life moves very fast at times, and extreme slow at other times. The same holds true for when someone tries to lose weight for their wedding day. While wedding day weight loss is a common thing, as most people want to look as fabulous as possible on their special day, it should be done in a very natural way. Many weddings are marked by the wedding party trying to squeeze into small dresses to look as “good” as they think they can look. But, ofttimes, this is done at an expense to their bodies and overall well-being. Weight loss should never be a rush-rush thing. It should happen as naturally as possible.
Natural weight loss is a much safer and healthier way to lose weight for your wedding day, or any day. Losing weight does not take all types of new drugs or expensive equipment. In fact, being dependent on such things can actually be a hindrance for long-term weight loss success.
Here are a few ways to make your wedding day weight loss goals happen naturally:
1. Don’t use drugs to lose weight. Instead of harmful drugs, try to start with a natural body cleanse, which you can do by drinking more water and/or herbal teas. Tea can work as a diuretic and antioxidant, which promotes frequent urination which can help to rid your body of certain unwanted free radicals. Eating more roughage such as dark green vegetables and fiber can help you to eliminate more waste from your body, allowing the body to cleanse itself naturally. With a fairly clean inside, you will lose some weight and your body will be prepped for a more healthier regimen.
2. Be honest about your goal. Don’t make yourself think that you have to lose enough weight to be the skinniest person at the wedding. Consider the ultimate purpose and goal of your weight loss, your body type, and the rewards of a real plan to lose weight for the long haul. Doing it too fast can definitely cause much more harm than good. The faster you lose it, the faster you may gain it back. Utilize a plan that works consistently over a specified period of time.
3. Find support. Whether it is for motivation for with sticking to an exercise program or for encouragement to eat better, if you feel that you cannot go it alone, get help. There are many organizations that foster positive, natural weight loss ideals that you can live by. These groups will give be there for you emotionally during this time as you make a personal commitment to lose the weight. If you need more assistance with developing or incorporating an effective exercise plan into your life, then you should seek out a personal trainer. Some gyms offer them free of charge, while others charge an hourly fee. Don’t let the cost scare you away from utilizing a personal trainer. The results of that added support will be priceless.
Whenever we prepare for life changes, we sometimes want a quick fix to make the transition go smoother. The same holds true with wedding day weight loss. However, a quick fix is not always the best solution. So, as you prepare for an awesome wedding day, and hopefully, and even more fantastic wedding night, take the same care and planning for your weight loss. Looking good can be a natural thing.
FAST WEIGHT LOSS… the natural way?
I’m a female, 18 years old, 5,5 1/2 and 132 pounds. I want to drop 4-6 pounds by May 23. My plan is to do cardio for an hour 4 days a week, and weight train for 20 min one day a week. Also, I’ll supplement all drinks for green tea (twice daily) and water. And I’ll have 5-6 small meals a day containing 200-300 calories per meal (most meals containing veggies or fruit).
With this regime is it possible for me to lose 4-6 pounds in time for May 23? If not can you recommend some things I can do please? (No diet pills, crazy fad diets/fasts though) kthx!!
